Messed up an exam badly, should I re-sit?

Final year undergrad starting at a BB FT this summer. Messed up a financial reporting exam really badly and just about passed. Received a First (70+%) in every other exam to date, the grade looks nothing short of ridiculous on my transcript. It will push my final result down to a 2.1 (60% - 69%) for sure.

I can only take the re-sit next August online but I'll be working at that stage. Should I just take the grade and move on, or attempt to re-sit it come August while working FT? - Advice appreciated!
