Mid Level Resume Advice

Hey guys!

I was hoping to get some answers to some questions that I've had when attempting to improve my resume for applications into IBD. I'm currently working in Ops at an investment bank and I have more than 5 years experience.

1) I have jobs listed that aren't necessarily relevant to IBD but I added them to the resume to explain employment history (so the employer doesn't think I was unemployed for long or something like that) is this incorrect?
2) How many bullet points should I have per job under work experience? my resume is currently 1.5 pages but I'm trying to trim it down to 1 page if possible and it's hard for me to determine what functions I should keep under it.
3) Similar to question #2, how strict is the one page rule? I have 5 years at my current firm and 7 years total experience.

Thanks again!
