Hi, I'm applying to 2021 Summer Analyst IBD and AM roles in London soon, and would greatly appreciate any feedback for my resume/CV. Feel free to roast me I'll appreciate it all!

  • Remove PIMCO prep (not selective, 5 hours of crap)
  • Barclays spring was the only one to get cancelled, write division.
  • ECs bullet points are trash, doesn't tell me anything.
  • sentence formatting is inconsistent.
  • ECs too finance focused, lacks personality imo
  • you are applying to IBD but you have trading/investing crap written 3 times
 

Thank you for your help! Yea there's quite a bit of investing/trading, and part of the reason for that was that I was interested in applying to markets roles last academic year.

Going to try and get some more IBD-related things on there when school opens back up

 

Focus more on the value add instead of just listing tasks; Improved efficiency by 20% with this or by doing etc.

 
  • Line up spacing on the accepted offer line

  • add a line of interests

  • add time-period for investment portfolio

  • extend bullets to the end of the page, instead of cutting them off before the date - will give you more space and be cleaner

  • date weird under pharma company
