Promotions -- how to identify them in trading, junior to senior trader
so i know if you move from being an analyst to a manager in a 'normal firm' that you tend to delineate the two different jobs as you tend to have many different roles/tasks assigned with each... but what if you are moving from a junior to senior role that maintains you doing the same (and im talking about for trading) thing but just having responsibility over more capital/more people? you dont double count your responsibilities under both... i can see for IB or PE you go analys associate and your tasks and the like change but trading is as trading does.. curious to hear what peoplethink
one bullet for senior trader or two for junior and senior? one seems the cleaner more efficient one
It is two separate entries regardless, you are doing slightly diff things, including mentoring jr traders, interfacing more with risk, and commandeering capital over the entire book, fostering relat w buyside, etc
