Putting future intern positions - too desperate?

Just really curious about this. I'm a first year law student (Undergrad, UK) trying to get my foot into IBD/Consulting internships (for first years) and I managed to secure two corporate law internships for later this year.

Now as a first year, would it be okay to list these two future legal intern positions or would it be too desperate? I was initially under the impression that it would look quite silly but then read around other forums and some people have suggested that it's okay to list these because i'm still a first year.

But what do you guys think? Should I list these two 'future' positions? (on top of two other internships (one law, the other environmental) I have already completed)

Not sure if it's different in the legal world, but if you haven't had the experience yet or are not currently in it, don't put it on the resume. Maybe you could throw in a couple words for the cover letter instead..

Are you saying you started law school six months ago and do not have an interest in the legal profession? If so, are you planning on dropping out?

To answer your question, do not put anything on your resume that has not happened.
