Try to walk-on. D-1 looks good but only if you don't look like a quitter. There were lots of guys i went to college with who were on the team who quit soph or junior year; they dont include their 2 or 3 little years on their resume. Only include if you made the full commitment of 4 yrs. otherwise you look like you're not good enough. Just talk about it in interviews and say you gave it up to focus on your studies. I was a D-1 athlete for all 4 years and I always include it.
