One answer for both questions. List your Berkeley GPA and whatever GPA will be shown on your transcript. When they go through the background check, it won't matter what your previous GPA (before Berkeley) were.
A 3.81 and 3.89 doesn't really make a difference when someone is screening a resume.

You're way overthinking this. Go to your school website, and look at your listed GPA. Put whatever that is, and don't try to lie with "A+" bullshit.
