Recent Graduate - Looking for Investment Banking/M&A

Hi All,

First time poster here. Finding some great information on the site so thanks to all who regularly post. Hope I will be able to weigh in with my two cents (in Euro that is) over the next while.

I have attached a copy of my CV/Resume for review. My aim is to gain a place on an analyst training programme with a global investment bank. I am lacking in mentors in Ireland who have followed this particular career path (Accountancy is the chosen career path for many over here), and therefore would appreciate any comments.

Thanks

Haha Sean you would think so....! But to be honest, Finance and Graduate Recruitment in Ireland is dominated by Big 4 firms. My thesis opened a few doors into those companies - but not into IB. I don't think I had any IB'ers in my research sample... all too busy I would imagine!
