Recs on how to set up resume for IB with no transaction experience?

Hi all, i am a current sophomore recruiting for jr year. i have a resume with zero transaction experience as they are all at hedge funds. I have a gut feeling that at this point I'm not smart enough to directly break into the buy-side out of college and have been getting recs left and right from PM/analysts to do banking. How should I go about setting up my resume, and would my story make sense for banking given I have not done a transaction?

Thanks!
