Resume Advice

Rising Sophomore looking to do IB or AM.  I recently finished a Wealth management internship which started June 1, but had to drop it on June 29th for personal reasons.  What should I do about the timing on my resume; should I put June-July or only June.  If I were to do June-July How likely is it that someone would a) do the due diligence and find that it isn't correct and b) actually doc me for it if I were to receive an internship offer for AM or IB at a big bank.  Additionally, is the extra month on the resume that big of a deal---is there any benefit to the risk I'd add for lying?

I would just put June 2026. Difference isn't huge in my eyes. If you really wanted to put June - July, I'd be shocked if anyone does diligence for an internship following your freshman year. BB banks hire hundreds and hundreds of interns, it'd be ridiculous if they went through and vetted all of each and every intern's experiences. Only real risk would be if, by chance, someone reading your resume was familiar with people at the firm and asked them about it. Even then, you're rounding up by 2 days, highly doubt that'd get you disqualified from any processes.
