Resume advice

I’m a sophomore at a semi target and have a Corporate finance internship lined up for the up coming summer. Do banks even care if I have this and if they do how could I communicate to them that I do because it wouldn’t make sense to put it on a resume until after the summer. Asking this because I’m applying to summer 2024 positions in spring. Thanks for the help!

Yes they do, if you don’t put that down than your on the same level as someone who didn’t have an internship.

Say “Incoming summer analyst” or whatever your CF title is. Than list some of the expected responsibilities but keep it very broad and high level.

From what I understand, having anything in line with “incoming xxxxx” on ur resume looks good. Getting sophomore summer internships is a crap shoot, so showing that you had dedication to go out and get something is a good sign. In any sense, it can’t hurt.
