Resume advice (Big 4 senior auditor trying to move to transactions)
I’m currently in the process of applying for analyst roles in corporate finance (M&A Advisory, Valuations, Transaction Diligence) across Big 4, mid-tier, and boutique firms, but I haven’t had much success progressing to the interview stage yet.
Although I recently updated my resume, I’m still not seeing the results I’d hoped for—typically receiving either no response or a rejection after a few weeks. I’m based in Sydney, Australia, so I understand that some local resume preferences might differ from international standards, particularly those common in the US.
I’d really value any feedback or critique on my resume to better understand whether it might need a full revamp or just some targeted improvements. I’m also open to any insights on how I might improve my approach more broadly. Thanks in advance for your time and input!
