Don't know much about energy firms so i'd take the advice of more knowledgeable members (finance major here), but i'd say a 3.0 isn't a killer with the quantitative majors/minors. Seems like that would be a pretty tough course load. Biggest weakness is lack of work experience, but the research should look favorably. I'd imagine you can find someone willing to give you an internship if fulltime doesnt work out. Good luck, hope some others can provide more energy-specific advice
