Resume Discrepancies

Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding resume discrepancies. If I were to submit an application with my original resume and then update my resume when I network (thereby sending a different resume to the bankers I am networking with) after I submit the app, would any difficulties come up?

Thanks in advance, I'm asking because I was able to rephrase some lines from my internship last summer.

In my experience it doesn't matter as long as they are minor changes. You are never thinking as much about your resume as when you are job hunting and the last time I was doing this it also happened to me that every now and then I found a better way to say certain things or better highlights from my previous positions. The bank I'm currently at probably received 3 versions of my resume at some point or another. If these are the types of changes you are making then trust me, no one will even notice or care.
