Resume Format for IB Analyst

I am in the process of updating to include my experience as a first year investment banking analyst. I have seen several formats for resumes and cannot decide on how to layout my resume.

I have seen three general format types. Any ideas or suggestions on which to use would be great.

- Typical format, with bullets for each deal (about 6 to 8 bullets for my analyst experience and a few bullets for older internships)

- Project based, a list of several deals with bullets under each one (with the typical format for older internships to round out the page)

- A combination of the two methods, some bullets summarizing experience, followed by a transaction section outlining deals (bullets for the older internship)

Does the format I choose depend on the type of lateral position I am pursuing? For example, I feel including transaction experience is creating a specific resume for IB / PE. Would have a typical, or project based resume, be a better choice for a broader resume that can apply to a variety of different positions? Thank you all!
