A resume should be what you have done, not what you will do or what you're supposed to do. My job descriptions have nothing to do with what I actually ended up doing. Plus, why would ABC hire you full-time if XYZ is giving you an internship? My first question would be, well why didn't they give you an offer?
But what if you’re starting your internship in the next few weeks but are applying for FT roles starting in 2021? Sure, we can wait a few weeks but by then thousands of applicants are ahead of us, or, we can submit our app now and just add it seeing as we’re joining very soon.
What do you think about that scenario?
Yeah that's what I'm doing. The only time I would not do it, is if the incoming internship conflicts with what you are applying for
Write the incoming internship on your cover letter instead. Maybe like: my name is ... and I am an incoming intern at...
