Resume Review - Don't Hold Back
Hello,
I currently attend a non-target school and am interested in AM internships for this coming summer. I realize that since I am from a non-target that my resume will need to be the best it can be so don't hold back any critiques.
Your format is all kinds of weird. You'll get better feedback that way. Props on the farmhand gig though. Shit sucks
^ Listen to his advice concerning formatting. That would be a good start. Get rid of the Relevant Skills Section, too sophomoric, or maybe replace with relevant coursework. Look for a different way to display your involvement, and consider condensing the volunteer garbage.
Good GPA though, keep it up. Get some solid work experience and then you can dump some of the irrelevant work experience. Primarily focus on the formatting and start networking. Good luck
I'm just a freshman, but from resumes I've seen: You have a leadership experience in a club, expand on that and replace your "farmhand" work experience. Maybe also expand on Sigma Alpha Lambda to replace "general laborer"
Your descriptions are vague. Requires strong rewording. And don't forget to use past tense.
"...community building...run effective meetings" How was it community building, what was accomplished? What was discussed? "Assist in setting achievable goals" What goals and for what? "Train and supervise..." Train them in what? "Perform a wide assortment..." Such as?
Thank you to everyone that has responded thus far.
I have made many changes to the resume and the revised version can be found here:

Thanks for the advice
