Resume Review Please - Some last insights

I have had people look this over and submitted it to most places that I will for the year, but it would be great to get any last insights from the WSO community. Will give out some SBs for helpful responses.

This looks clean and easy to read. Have you considered using M&I template? Also, I think you should include some numbers on your most recent internship. Check out my resume and comments I got on it. I was told that I am lacking numbers on my bullet points. I am currently working on that. Feel free to comment on my resume as well.

Buhgaler,

P.S. I would not include Microsoft Office. I like that you mentioned your work experience during high school, I will consider adding mine on my resume.

Experience looks good, but quantitative results would make your resume shine more.

I also don't really like the format. There's way too much white space. Have you considered making your margins 0.5 inches across the entire paper?

I had it at 0.5 for a while but was told by a few people that it looked too crammed (this was also before removing a lot of stuff). The white space is exaggerated on the copy I attached a bit (making it anonymous shortened up every line). I'll definitely consider adding some numbers for the PE and Investment Management positions (at the very least specific AUM).

I think you should consider setting up 0.5 or maybe .75 margins again. If it looks crammed, you can work on your vertical spacing, but the sides of your resume look too bare.

i just did a look over again, and i don't like how you've set up your bullet points.

for example, 'Conducted analysis on the financials and trends of newly sourced companies' This only shows what you did. you need to show results. So you could write something like 'Provided justification for 1% adjustment of required IRR through financial/trends analyses of newly sourced companies' or somehing like that.

Hoep that helps! I'm only a junior too, but all the alumni I've had edit my resume for me have always told me showing the results of your actions is key.

I would right side justify the City,State info (to where your dates currently are) and drop the dates a line below this. Drop your expected graduation date down into its own line.

Agreed to include as many specific numbers as possible, such as on mine I gave the AuM of my school's endowment portfolio that I helped with, and the specific trades I made (invested in X shares of XYZ on that date, has returned % as of today).
