Resume-Wording a deal to say DEAD
I am updating my resume and need to reconfigure my IB experience since all my deals are now dead, versus pending as it reads on my resume. What is the best way to phrase it.
Currently one of them reads:
Sell-side branch divestiture for a commercial bank selling $250 million in deposits (pending)
of course you can include dead deals in your resume, it is not a problem at all!
Hopefully, not all of the ones listed in your resume are dead, then try to avoid saying all are dead. But to include one or two where you had a really relevant experience, it's ok!
it doesnt matter that they're dead. what matters is how you demonstrate what you learned / how you contributed

Deals on CV (Originally Posted: 05/11/2009)
How do you guys put your deal experience on your CV? How much detail do you include, and would you also include failed bids/mandates for PE firms where the funds didn't even make a bid after doing the valuation and DD?
