Rising Senior Resume - Applying from a non-target 10 LAC
I'm applying from a non-target top 10 LAC (no formal OCR) for entry-level positions this fall in private banking(not so much PWM), management consulting, and international development(think World Bank).
I just finished undergrad so take my advice with a grain of salt but here's what I got for you: 1. Try to add a little more specifics/results to your bullets on work and leadership experiences. What is better/improved because you were there? What seperated what you did there from anyone else who could've held that role? 2. I don't think you need to put your part time hosting job unless you think it seriously adds to your application in some way. It's clear from your other more impressive work that you've done school and part time jobs simultaneously if thats the point you were hoping to showcase. Also the date on that host job line doesn't really make sense to me (should it be June 2011 to Aug 2012?). 3. I always like an interest section as long as it's going to interesting. Sometimes you get a more relaxed, friendly interviewer who is stoked about you backpacking the AT. 4. the top line looks thinner than the rest, may just be on my browser but i'd check it in case.
In general though I like the layout and format a lot and it looks like a good resume.
And, i'm curious, how/why are you fluent in both French and Russian? Seems like an unusual combination.
