Shit on my resume (college)

I am a freshman in College at Mays Business School, looking to transfer out to a target school Junior year, I am looking to improve my resume for when I am applying for internships & programs in the near future.
Any critique, insults, and advice is welcome, especially on what activities I should get involved in,
Thanks

At this point, improve your GPA/GPR for your transfer application. Nice job building up the finance experience, keep it up. You can remove your Windows OS skill since that does not matter much. State the business school name and you can perhaps omit the "emphasis towards finance". You can actually say "finance specialization" instead. Good start otherwise.

For the lead! Sipag, tiyaga, at lakas ng loob!

Why do you want to transfer? What're your end goals?

Your bullets under experience cut off and go to the next line too early - make them like the bullets under activities (continue them through the whole line). If you're just doing it to fill space, I'd still make that change and then just increase the line spacing between bullets slightly. Also, just say Top Quartile or Top 25%, not both, and align dates (your first one under experience is off to the left).

  • What is GPR? Sarcasm but glaringly dumb mistake to have near the top of your resume.
  • H.S. GPA / quartile does not serve any purpose in my opinion. Keep the distinguished program bit and consider adding any other recognition (e.g. scholarship, academic award).
  • Edit BA to concentration in finance as opposed to emphasis towards finance.
  • The resume needs better spacing. Have a space after section titles (e.g. Education), the Texas A&M section, and each internship.
  • You have too many bullet points and the sentences are too short so consolidate into longer ones. You don't need four bullet points to explain a hosting job.
  • Why do the bullet points not run across the entire page? The formatting is bad.
  • Remove French Cafe. Consolidate Barton Creek responsibilities into two lines.
  • I don't like how Education, Experience, etc. is centered. I would prefer to be on the left.
  • Everyone knows Windows OP and Microsoft Office. Knowing Word in 2015 is not a technical skill.
  • Be more descriptive about your coding knowledge. I suggest to add projects. And be honest in your competency.
  • You have poor attention to detail. Your dates formatting is all f*-ed up. Sometimes you spell out the full month and other times you just write "Jan". You have commas where you don't need them. You have extra spaces throughout your text.
  • If you have a Spanish sounding name you can remove the language fluency bit if you run out of space.

Your writing needs improvement. Consult with the career services office to help draft a new version. And improve that GPR (kidding about the typo)!
