Should I put Selected Deal Experience on Resume (Undergrad)
I just completed a 3 month IB Internship at a boutique and was wondering if I should put deal experience on my resume or not.
I wanted to put 2 deals, one which fell through in DD and another one which is still underway. Is it worth it? Do recruiters like seeing deal experience? I mainly worked in DD and marketing materials. FT Associates did the modeling and structuring of the deal.
Don’t think you can put deal experience unless it signed/closed?
Thought u could if u did anything relevant. Should I just put bullets then?
Im gonna write "Advised Civil Engineering Co. in the Acquisition of Telecom Engineering Co. for $30MM" smth like this. Not disclosing anything I think
While I'm not in a recruiting role, I like resumes with deal experience (maintaining confidentiality ofc). Make sure your bullets are believable (mainly when talking about results or value-add, as it's easy to stretch the truth here), and you can defend that bullet to an interviewer.
