soph non target

sophmore NONTARGET, trying to get a boutique offer through cold calling. Any advice? or at least gauge my chances?

can't stay at my current one because the MD is a complete dick, didn't actually teach me shit, and I actually learned most of the shit myself. just a lil white lie there.

Make it results oriented: you screened how many companies and what was the outcome, for example. Show results, don't describe job duties if you can avoid it.

Get busy living

Your resume looks great for a sophomore. In my experience, IB recruiters don't care if you worked in VC, unfortunately. However, it can't hurt to have it on there. My advice is to follow up, follow up, follow up... persistence pays dividends.

Your resume is quite good for a soph. Mainly what UFOinsider said - you listed a lot of what the job was but didn't really have a results-oriented focus.

Also, your resume is more than enough to get interviews and the like, so its really up to going at it non-stop now.

Good luck!

you better nail those interviews not because you will be sure to get plenty with that resume

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.

***you have a good resume. now my comment makes me look a d-bag because of one misspelled word...

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
