UK Specific Advice
Could someone advise me whether I should include the following on my resume for spring week recruiting: It was an internship at a company that does both advertising and management consulting and I worked with them for a month to do market research and competition analysis for a client in the perfume sector.
Is the fact that the internship not directly in banking but more in Consulting fine? Because without this my work experience would only include a month in Retail Banking last summer and a month interning for a magazine the year before that.
I am an international and in my country there are very limited opportunities for someone not already in university to get work experience in finance.
I will be attending a target in the UK if that makes any difference.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Any work experience that can highlight skills required in banking such as attention to detail will be great on your CV. The fact that your are going to a target pretty much means that you will get interviews.
