Undergrad Freshmen looking for resume reviews and advice

Hi,

I am an Undergrad freshmen at a top-10 US University interested in investment banking and want to get a head start on decent internship this summer, please review my resume and be brutally honest, thanks.

I'm a first year student as well and I am by no means no expert on resumes. I think you should elaborate just a slight bit more on your interest in securities trading. What types of securities do you trade and what are your returns? This could make your resume a bit more interesting.

 

You have no experience - and that is completely fine as a freshman - so you need to BS up what you do have a little bit. By "securities trading" I assume you mean you own a few stocks. Break that out into a separate section include bullets on your investment process and then 1 or 2 positions with a mini-thesis. Example: bought FB in October '13 base on opportunity for growth in mobile ad revenue, has returned 34% to date

This is good, but you better know your shit like the back of your hand. I have friends who got destroyed in interviews because they embellished this section a little too much and couldn't talk intelligently about your investments.
