Upcoming Internship on CV?

I am beginning to work on Fall 2026 internship applications, and was wondering if putting an internship I am starting in January is appropriate? If so, do I put it in the experience section or do I create an entirely new section? It will be the best internship I have had so far and it shows momentum in my career trajectory.
