What do you think about my resume? Any suggestions?

The resume forum isnt as active as this one, so I figured I'd post it here

Anything you think I should fix/correct?

I dont care if you destroy it lol, any feedback is helpful

Mod Edit: The resume forum isn't as active, but it exists for a reason. Those who do visit that forum are willing to provide feedback.

Use standard formatting in regards to accomplishments and tasks completed.....Participated, led, initiated X and as a result Y. I think resumes should always have some quantifiable aspect and in the least be results driven

Taking a quick look:

  1. Formatting needs some work - http://www.bankonbanking.com/resume-revisions/
  2. Round GPA to 1 or at most 2 decimals
  3. Too much chosen and selected - if you want to include it, reformat the experience and remove the bullet point and just include a 1-line summary of what it is before going into the bullets
  4. Your bullets need some work - given most of your experience is brief programs and not internship work, you want to sell what you learned and did given the brief time. It won't be much, but sell it more - for example, what did you do for the case study and trading simulation - what did you learn, any results.
  5. Feel free to throw in an interests and skills section - any computer skills, languages, technical skills, etc and your interests.

PM me if you have other questions.

Your experience is good but needs to be more punchy and to the point - state clearly what you've achieved and learned. For example, the bullet point starting with "developed technicalskills by being given examples..." could become more like "worked through position reconciliation and sales support example cases and developed technical understanding of....". Another example is when you say "participated in activities such as an ipo case study and a trade simulation" - it's better to phrase it like "completed an IPO case study and came [3rd] in Trading Simulation" You also repeat "chosen/selected from a competitive pool" - can change this to "was one of [20] people who were invited to attend..."
