What to do during internship and how to structure it on CV

I'm going into my 2nd year of uni at Imperial EFDS, and have been interning at a Global Insurer in their Finance Change department.

What I've done so far has been a lot on the technical BA side, where we consult internal finance employees on what they want and what features would be the best for them in a dashboard for kpis . I also have been using SQL, Power Query and Power BI to make the dashboard.

So far this is all I have done and it has been interesting but I'm not sure if it's good for MBB or IB internships that I will be applying to in the Summer 2026.

If anyone had advice for what I should try to do or ask people to get me to do that would be good to put on my cv, I would appreciate it. I was thinking of exploring the treasury side and so far I have been doing practice For excel such as WSP premium package during my free time.
