When is it too much job description in a resume?
Hi gang,
As alot of summer analysts/ sophomore internships closing in, been thinking of the best way to put my job description on my resume. Was told by some full time bankers that you wouldn't want to over exaggerate your descriptions in fear that it will expose you to further questioning during future interviews. This left me hesitant.
I your opinion, when is a job description on a resume too much, especially for an intern/summer analyst. Examples? Acceptable examples?
I've always thought that the resume should be minimalist in job descriptions, which I know is difficult if you're in a lot of support positions. It should be focused more on accomplishments. So, for example, I list some of the successful deals that I took part in and mention very briefly what I do at Company X.
