Am I just soft? Or is the adjustment from college to the workforce incredibly depressing… nobody really talks about it but I feel like I do nothing but work and don’t get how people do this for 40+ years
You are soft. My life has improved by multiples since leaving school. Earn money for working? What’s not to like?
Definitely takes getting used to but if you’re depressed now, change something because you’ll feel like shit or go numb a few years later. If you’re in banking working a ton of hours and every week feels boring then you should probably not be in banking and do something that you’re actually interested in.
I enjoy my life bc I genuinely enjoy my job/coworkers, I change up what I do on the weekends, and I have a handful of very good friends.
