2024/25 MBA grads, how has PE recruiting gone?
Curious what your profile was before your MBA, which tier MBA you landed at, how recruiting went/is going, what type of firm you landed on, and title/comp. Curious if the experience was worth it for you too.
Bump - interested to know if pre MBA MF PE people were able to go back
Can't imagine anyone at MF PE went to MBA, without firm backing, or unless they were pivoting from a non-buyout team (i.e., Secondaries, credit). Even then - I'm not convinced an MBA is the best move.
