MM leveraged lending? Like commercial banking? Or at a mezz fund? Either way, its a question of how much its worth to you and region you want to be in, etc.

This is a super nuanced question - I'd read the two articles linked below to get a better feel for how to best apply their thoughts to your decision making process. I'm at an M7 (not H/S), and my initial thought is that $150K/year is pretty great for most ppl (ignore any college kids on this site who think that's dog s**t earnings).
