Advice Needed: Double Major or Not

Hi all,

I am currently a junior planning my schedule for next year. As it stands, I am enrolled as a Finance and Accounting major and will need to take 18 credits each semester in my senior year to complete the Accounting degree. I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing the second major or if I should use the extra time to study for the GMAT, prepare for on-cycle, or enjoy my last year on campus. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I would not double major, unless it's in a subject that really interests you. In terms of recruiting as long as you take a business related major nobody really cares what you study…I feel like the need for double majors is driven by prestige focused people who fail to realize that nobody really cares in the real world. As someone who studied in a program that was forced to take tedious classes, I would recommend to take electives and courses that genuinely you enjoy.
