Analyst -> MSF -> Associate
I currently work in corporate banking in a tier II city. I've got a few years experience as an analyst, and am starting to look at b-school. My post b-school goals are to either (1) stay in corporate banking, (2) move to a direct lender (Antares / NXT, etc.) in a credit role, or (3) possibly move into i-banking.
I'm gravitating toward part-time programs, given that my goals don't really involve a drastic career change. In particular, I'm looking at a 2-year MSF program. It's cheaper, goes deeper into finance than the MBA program, but obviously is not the traditional route given my work experience. Does anyone have experience doing an MSF program effectively as a substitute for an MBA?
