Apply to Bocconi with low GRE or Politecnico di Milano for MSc
Hi,
I am a final year student of a BSc in Economics and Finance at a Russel group university in the UK. Now, I want to complete an MSc in Italy (for personal reasons). My top choice was, of course, the MSc Finance at Bocconi but I do not want to pay the high fees and I do not want to get another student loan so I am trying to get a scholarship. I studied for 4 months to take the GRE and two weeks ago I took it and Got V157 and Q159 (610 GMAT equivalent). Of course, this is much lower than what I was expecting so I lost my hope to get a scholarship in Bocconi and want to apply to MSc Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in the Finance track. Do you think I should at least try to apply and see whether I will be offered a scholarship or I should save the 100 euros application fee and go to Politecnico?
For further information, my GPA is quite high (3.8/4) and I did two internships at Bloomberg and EY.
Any advice is really appreciated.
If I were you I would apply to both as you have a strong enough background to get accepted. Also just for the future change ur name and dont name the exact firms u worked for, u can get doxxed really quick.
Hi, thanks for the advice! Do you think I have a chance to get a scholarship with that gre score and given that I am applying on the 3rd round?
