Applying To Spring Weeks Before or After University Starts?

2026 Springs for Rothschild and BlackRock have already opened and I can't help but feel like I'm already behind. My UK university starts late Sept and I know Rothschild is rolling so it would be beneficial to apply earlier. Would it be better to put together a CV and CL with just high school extracurriculars and try to prepare online assesments by myself and apply asap or wait until university starts and apply with more guidance but apply later. Would the disadvantage of applying a month later be too much? Thanks in advance
