Applying via School Website v. Company Website
I have been emailing with a higher-up at Stifel and he encouraged me to apply to the internships through Handshake (our school's in-house career website, could be any). Taking a closer look, the url for the Handshake application is slightly different than the url if you get to the application through Stifel's website, even though they look the same and apply to the same job. I imagine Stifel tracks those who apply from our school and it gives an advantage in the application process. Does anyone know if this is common, or am I just making things up?
