Balancing school and running a business?

Obviously I have to give up sleep and my social life to be successful at either one, but has anyone ever had success balancing the two? My business will be in the dietary supplement industry, and I don't have the funds required for large manufacturers as of yet so I will be producing them on my own(which will take a fair amount of time). Once I build up a decent capital, I will be able to hand over the manufacturing/labelling process over which will allow me to focus more on marketing and striking deals with large retailers.
