A little background on myself: I'm in community college in California. I did not do well in high school, but have a 3.2-3.5 (not exactly sure at the moment, need to check) GPA. The biggest issue I'm having is where to try and go to school, namely because I really screwed myself on my math. I'm 20, and I need to take the predecessor to pre-calc. Most schools want calc 1 - calc 2 to even be considered, and I'm already at a sophomore standing. I'm also looking at moving to the east coast at the end of next summer, possibly sooner, to Pennsylvania. I've been looking at schools, and I'm wouldn't even be eligible for Wharton, as hard as I tried, it's literally impossible because it'd put me over on credits for the minimum requirements. So what are my other best options? What are the better/best schools you'd recommend? I know I'm probably going to get some heat for saying I'm moving and should just stay in California, but it's something that the girlfriend wants to do, so I'm trying to play my cards the best I can. Not specifically trying to get into IBD. More so AM or ER, however I'm not ruling anything out between the three. Also to add a little more to the plot, I don't have much financial backing from my parents. They're broke. That's why I'm sort of making the initiative to do this on my own. I'm working two jobs as it is just to get by in CC, so I know loans are a must for anything above that. Knew that from the get go of my college expedition. Any advice on schools in the east coast besides the major ivys and maybe help me come up with some strategy? Any help/advice/opinion is welcome and appreciated. Please help!

Take the predecessor to pre-calc, pre-calc and calc 1. Almost all good business schools / economic programs require calc 1. At this point I would focus on big state schools with relaxed transfer requirements.
I'd look at Indiana and Penn State.
My best advice is that you don't move somewhere for your high school sweetheart. I sympathize for your situation but you have known that you need pre-pre-calc/pre-calc and calc1 to apply and you still haven't taken it? Get your shit together, stop making excuses and do better than a 3.2-3.5 in community college. You come off as one of those kids who can do it if you just focus on it, trust me I am one too, but that isn't going to count for too much longer. Potential quickly turns into wasted potential the older you get. Good luck.
