Best Banks for B-School Admittance

From what I've seen bulge brackets for HWS. But it is possible to pull it off from midmarket. I don't know if boutiques would be the best option though because of lack of reputation.

I know McColl Partners in Charlotte sends a ton of guys to HBS FWIW.

BBs, unless it's an elite boutique like Lazard/Evercore, which would probably be worse than some BBs but better than others.

how about working at a Boutique for a few extra years and getting to the associate level or higher before applying to programs like HBS and Wharton. would that help against applying after the first few analyst years?

If you wish to apply to top business schools then one of the prerequisites is having significant work experience. Generally candidates have around 4-5 years of full time experience in spite of several term time projects or jobs; so you may be competing with other candidates who have 4-5 years of full time experience and have started significant initiatives at college. So you should choose a route based on your interest rather than choosing it for your mba specific application. The quality of your work (what you did there like-what were your achievements, what initiative you took, what changes you drove in your workplace etc), your academics and beyond academics will play an important role in determining your candidature So wherever you feel you will ahev the liberty to get quality work done as mentioned above should eb a good choice.
