Best non/semi-target MBA Programs in US to Break into IB

Hi, ladies and gentlemen.

I graduated with distinction and a high GPA from the best university in my country (a developing one), but this university is almost unknown on the global stage. In terms of work experience, I work in M&A and have a decent background (again, compared to the average finance professional in my country).

I want to apply to MBA programs in the US. I am aware that the probability of getting into target universities is lower than average (even assuming I achieve a high GMAT score). Therefore, my question is: which non-target (or semi-target) universities would you recommend that still have decent investment banking placement?

I appreciate your responses and look forward to hearing your suggestions.

Thank you in advance!
