Yes, MBB recruits a more diverse profile. For finance I agree that Ivey / Queens have a huge leg up, but it really matters less for consulting. At the end of the day, MBB cares about you acing your cases, not the school you go to.

If they took the time to properly prepare for case prep interview, yes. For example, in some countries (I know France and Switzerland for example), McK tend to hire more engineers than it does business background.
