Best University/Major For Investment Banking?

I have applied to study economics and finance at universities across Scotland. Where would you recommend as a school? Are there specific courses that offer greater chances at positions than others? And is there a definitive "best route" into banking? Aside from "Daddy did it so I will" I am sadly not blessed with that gift, but banking is exactly what interests me. I am fully aware that Scotland isn't exactly primetime for investment banking but I am entirely happy to relocate for my work. Any input is appreciated.
