Just got feedback from 2 of the 8 places I applied...Both were no's...Needless to say not a good day....

Yea i didnt apply to any top 20 was aiming for a top 30-50 but now Im starting to worry and think I may not get into any....
that's good plan and you better think why and think hard.
Or maybe have someone have a look at your application, see if there's anything you can't fix before R2 deadlines roll on by...
To put things in perspective, 8 places do not count as many.
I got dinged for some top internships, if it makes you feel any better. Damn MBAs and their more established OCI.
Not sure if all the MBAs have established OCI. I've seen a lot of ppl struggle to land internships from top MBAs
dude, this is not even funny. The top MBAs all want the "top brand" internships, and that's the "struggle". would you take a no-name internship if you're in top MBA? in contrast, you probably can't even get a no-name one if your school isn't help you out.
Keep your head up. My first news was bad news too, but it has gone well since then. Just try to block out distractions and refrain from continually checking outcomes.
