Business School and Carreer Path decision: help needed!

Hi all!

I'm planning to apply for a MBA next year and would really appreciate your opinions!

Profile:

  • Brazilian, male, 30yo
  • GMAT: 720+ (I'm scoring around 720 on mock exams and have enough time to improve until application)
  • Undergrad: Business @ Top 3 brazilian School (a lot of Alumni at Top MBAs in the US and Europe)
  • GPA: 2.6 (:sick)
  • Language Skills: portuguese (Native), english and spanish (fluent), starting to learn french
  • CFA Level I (maybe Level II, waiting for results)
  • Internacional Experience: 3 months working at a clothing store in US as a sales person), 2 weeks volunteering in Cape Town, South Africa
  • European citizenship

Work Experience: - Structured Finance - Structurer (CMBS, RMBS, REITs) - 4 years at a top local company) - 4 promotions (from intern to senior analyst)

  • Structured Finance - Origination Associate at a start-up (didn't work out because of economic conditions) - 1 year

  • Structured Finance - Structuring Associate - Agribusiness sector - 1 year (until now) at a start-up which is growing extremely fast - 10 deals closed with big multinationals)

  • I've been in several deals (6 of them as the leading analyst)

  • Lots of Financial Modeling and client exposure

My goal:

  • I'm really tired of working in structured Finance and want to work with more complex Financial Modeling / Valuation)

  • Structured Finance has some overlap of Skills with LevFin, so I'm thinking of LevFin as a good move).

  • For the future, go up the ranks in IB/LevFin or make a transition to the buy side (HF or AM)

  • Work at a developed market (US or Europe). As I'm a european citizen, I think that my chances in Europe are better)

Business Schools: - As I will be 32yo when I begin my MBA, I'm seriously thinking about a 1 year Program in Europe

Targets: INSEAD, HEC Paris, IESE, Imperial College, Cass, Oxford

Targets in the US: - NYU, Tuck, Darden, Cornell

What do you think is my best path, considering profile and career goals?

Thank you very much!
