Business School for head of a company?
Hey guys,
I am the president of a smallish hospitality/real estate company that my dad started in the early 90's. He died 6 years ago and I have been overseeing operations since. Before he died, my plan was to go to business school after undergrad.
I deal with everything from purchases, accounting and direct management of the properties to financing and HR. We currently employ around 350 employees.
-I have a B.S. (2013) in economics from a mid tier 4 year state institution (good grades).
The gist of my question is whether its worth even considering now.
Is what I will learn worth the expense/time/energy? Will it help with networking in a niche industry like hospitality? Maybe help with potential acquisitions in the future? Job opportunities later in life?
I would be shooting for ~top 15 school.
Thanks for any info/opinions!
