Canadian Law School Graduate - Should I do my MBA in Canada (Ivey) or the US?

I graduated from a top Canadian law school, and do not plan on staying in the legal field after a few years of practicing law (banking and finance, construction, employment, and securities are my legal practice focus). I would like to go into business, consulting, and Fintech/AI/Blockchain down the road.

Currently, I am doing the online certificate in Fintech from Oxford. I was initially looking into pursuing an M7 MBA, but it doesn't seem financially possible given the fact that I am already in a lot of student debt. I know that Canadian law school and MBA graduates have gone on to work in the US.

If I do an MBA in Canada, it would be at Ivey Business School, which would cost me around 100k CAD; I am confident I can get scholarships and bursaries to help mitigate the cost. The program is also only 1 year in length, as opposed to the 2 year MBA programs in the States.

I probably want to stay and work in Toronto, Canada. However, on the chance that I want to move to the States, how would I be perceived by employers with a BA Summa Cum Laude, JD (from a top 3 Canadian school), and an Ivey MBA? Ideally, an M7 MBA would be best, but I don't know if I have the time or finances to cover that right now. I'm 25 years old if that adds any context.

I was also looking into the online degree in Management from Harvard Extension School.

Any advice is much appreciated.
