Career switching advice (recent MBA grad)

Hi all, I've just graduated from an MBA program in NYC. Not a fancy school. I wanted to ask for advice, mostly because a lot of what I did pre-MBA isn't business related. Various stuff from some quality assurance testing work at a small game company all the way to running dungeons and dragons at a board game cafe. :]

Right now I've got an internship, though the company is an education and training company (Project Destined), not a real estate private equity firm. Project Destined was founded by a former Carlyle Group Principal who I believe wanted to "give back" by educating folks at non-target schools. I've been admitted several times to their real estate private equity internships and CRE "fundamentals" certificate programs and have enjoyed them, though since these are short, online-only sessions my practical experience is still probably limited.

I'm wondering what makes sense to go for in terms of career path but I welcome general advice as well-- long term growth and transferable skills are what I care about the most.

Thanks all, and happy new year!
