CFA® Level 2 Exam Denial

Hi,

I just got a mail from the CFA® Institute saying CFA® Institute has denied your application to become a candidate in the CFA® Program.

They say I answered Yes to the 1st question regarding Suspension from financial services markets. I can swear I answered a No, I don't know what happened.. An issue with the system or maybe a silly mistake by me.

I have never been suspended either temporary or permanently from the financial markets or by any regulatory body so I will obviously be making an appeal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Will they consider my case and let me take the exam? Also are there any documents or proof they would request?

Any help/advise is welcome.

Thanks,
Super Nervous

Can't see why you won't be able to do it if you can prove to them that you haven't been banned...might be a bitch to do though

They didn't really ask for any sort of proof, documents or whatever. Just an email saying I made a mistake. I sent it out Friday, so here goes I guess.

I sent them a mail and they have told me to write out an appeal and send it across for them to review. They didn't ask for any documents or proof of any sort, just my word. Waiting for a reply now...fingers crossed!

Its all good! :) they are allowing me to take the test - didnt really ask too much just a confirmation the selection was a mistake. Thank you for your post everyone

Hi Neha05...how long did it take you to get this sorted?....I got a similar mail and i am super nervous too....based on the post dates I see it took almost 2 months....is that correct?....please please please respond
