Chances at deferred M7?
I'm a current junior at a non target considering whether it is worth it to put in the work to put together a competitive M7 deferred application. 4.0 Finance major at a ~T50 non target with a CapOne BA role lined up. I just took a practice GMAT without any studying and got a 700 and think I can get a 750 with practice. I have good internship experience and want to get into MBB consulting. I am an ORM which I know hurts me in an already very competitive deferred pool. Wonder if you guys think this is worth pursuing/realistic. I also would not really want to pay sticker price and am not really sure how scholarships work for deferred apps.

Depends on your story - why the MBA NOW?
Deferred MBA programs are made to lock up the candidates that otherwise wouldn't apply to an MBA. Generally prioritize manufacturing and engineering, as well as URM candidates.
If you can articulate why you're applying now rather than in ~5 years, you should be in pretty good shape given stats. Good luck!
Harvard and Stanford are unlikely unless you have a very unique life story or experience. However, if you raise your GMAT, the rest of the M7 schools are within reach. All these schools take plenty of traditional applicants for deferred admission. Good luck.
